CS1ADS: Algorithms and Data Structures

Aims

This half-unit, which follows on from CS1JAV, will consider further what programming is. Moving on from small programs as covered in CS1JAV, this half-unit will investigate various notions of abstraction which enable the construction of medium-sized programs.

Issues of construction of large and huge programs is considered in CS1SEN.

In the second year, CS2JAC will continue on from CS1ADS.
